The 14th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL 2008 in Kielce has finished.
At the fair, the company FILTER SERVICE Sp. z o. o. received an award for its newest products, that is the FX CODE 2025 FFP2 D filtering half-mask and the reusable anti-dust filters E 952 P2 R, EW 952 P2 R and BIO E 953 P3 R for the EUROMASK ETNA half-mask.

The METAL Fair is the largest exhibition event in Poland dedicated to the foundry industry. It is at the same time it is one of the most important exhibitions of this kind in Europe.

In this year's edition of the fair, 345 companies participated in the event, whose stalls covered an area of 3 500 m2. About 3 000 specialists and journalists from 20 countries announced their visit at the fair. The majority visitors include directors of smaller and larger foundries, head managers of production and marketing departments and heads of drafting offices. The fair welcomed visitors from many various countries, especially from Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Exhibitors included not only companies involved solely in foundry business but also companies that supply equipment components, auxiliary materials, fire-resistant materials, equipment for preparing moulding compounds, equipment and materials for cleaning, welding and finishing the surfaces of casts and many, many others. Among the exhibitors, there were also companies which supply personal protection equipment. One of these companies, exhibiting at the fair for the third time, was FILTER SERVICE.

New products presented during the event gained recognition of the fair's contest jury.
